International Thyroid Awareness Week is held to raise awareness of thyroid disease and is kicked off by World Thyroid Day on Sunday 25th May.
To raise awareness Thyroid UK is asking people to wear something purple at any point during the week.
It could be a purple top or shirt, purple trousers or tie, purple dresses, socks or shoes etc. Purple nails is a really quick and easy way to do this!
You can take selfies and post them onto your social media pages and then share them with all your friends and family to spread the word! Make sure you tag Thyroid UK and we can then share them too!
We will be posting information about thyroid disease throughout the week. Please like and share so that we can spread the word about thyroid disease!
At Thyroid UK, we’re committed to supporting everyone affected by thyroid disease. If you’re able to, please consider making a donation – your support means the world to us and helps us continue our vital work.
