Genova Diagnostics

Genova Diagnostics Europe is a global speciality clinical laboratory, pioneering a systems approach that supports healthcare providers in the personalised treatment and prevention of chronic disease.

Read the list of available tests, then call 020 8336 7750 or request a test kit by email using the code A42AQ. Thyroid UK have organised discounts on some tests however these are not available via the Genova Diagnostics website.

If you order a test, Thyroid UK, in association with Melissa Cohen, Registered Nutritional Therapist, will be named as your practitioner.

Once your test has been analysed, it will be sent to Thyroid UK. Thyroid UK will then send it to you via email. To receive your test results, you must complete a Test Results Form.

Once You Have Your Test Results

Please do not telephone the Thyroid UK office. Thyroid UK staff are not qualified to interpret the test results for you. This may be done by your NHS doctor or a private doctor or practitioner. Thyroid UK have a list of private doctors and practitioners which you can request here or if you require interpretation of your results you can book a consultation with Registered Nutritional Therapist, Melissa Cohen.

Alternatively, you could search for a nutritional therapist on http://bant.org.uk/ or you can join our online community and discuss your test results with other members.

Request your test results from Thyroid UK after you have completed the test.

Thyroid UK receives a donation for every test purchased from these testing companies which supports us in our vital work to help people with thyroid disease and related disorders.

Before ordering private thyroid tests in the UK, read about getting a diagnosis and thyroid function tests to see which might be relevant for you. If you can’t get the tests done by your clinician, then consider ordering from our partner private testing companies.

Be aware that biotin can affect FT4 levels if you take more than 20mg a day. You should stop taking biotin at least two days before taking the test. Click here for more information.
