Thriva Personalised Healthcare Service
Thyroid UK works with Thriva so that people can access private testing.
The Thriva Advanced Thyroid Test measures: TSH, T4, TT4, T3, TPO and TgAb. It also analyses vitamin D, vitamin B9 (folate), vitamin B12 and ferritin. Deficiencies in these often mimic thyroid disease symptoms and are also vital to support a functioning thyroid. This test was the output of months of research including interviews with GPs, functional medicine practitioners, thyroid experts and nutritional therapists.
Following an initial test, Thriva will recommend dietary and lifestyle changes to manage your condition. Follow up tests will analyse how your thyroid function has changed in relation to these recommendations. Thriva advocates these recommendations in addition to medical guidance provided by your GP.
Thriva are offering all Thyroid UK supporters an introductory discount of £15 on their first thyroid test (usually priced at £79). To access this discount you must enter the code ‘THYROIDUK‘ at the checkout.
Thriva is building a personalised healthcare service with easy and affordable home blood testing at its heart. As well as thyroid products, Thriva offers ongoing health tracking measuring things like vitamin D, B9 and B12, as well as ongoing risk for heart disease and diabetes.
After each test you will receive recommendations from a GP as well as suggestions for follow on tests if highlighted risk areas have been identified.
Thyroid UK staff are not qualified to interpret the test results for you. This may be done by your NHS doctor or a private doctor or practitioner. Thyroid UK have a list of Private Doctors & Practitioners who may be able to help you. Click here to request the list.
Alternatively, you can join our online community and discuss your test results with other members.
