Jurassic Coast Challenge
The original date has moved by a week to comply with the timeline for the easing of Covid lockdown – with a changed start venue as the Poole Harbour ferry crossing remains restricted.
You can now take on the spectacular Jurassic Coast from our NEW start venue in CORFE CASTLE, on a great route which loops down to Swanage, then across to Lulworth Cove & Durdle Door, with ups & downs to the Weymouth halfway stop. For 100 km challengers it’s along the end of Chesil Beach to West Bay’s famous cliffs (of TV’s Broadchurch) with a finish line celebration in vibrant Bridport.
You’ll get full support & hospitality – and with half, marathon, and quarter distance options available – there’s a Jurassic Coast Challenge for everyone, and a most welcome return to the trails!

Fundraising options
Tap the ‘Register’ button to apply for a Thyroid UK Charity place via the event organiser. We will contact you with instructions on how to confirm your place.
Note: At least 50% of the Minimum Sponsorship target should be with Thyroid UK by 6 weeks prior to the Challenge. At this time we will pay a Fee for your place to the Organiser (similar to the Self Funding cost). Failure to meet the 50% target may result in cancellation by us. The remaining 50% should be with us 4 weeks after the Challenge.
