2017 Conference Venue

We are very pleased to announce the Thyroid UK 2017 Conference!  Our conference, which is being held at the Cotswold Water Park Hotel in Cirencester, will give you an opportunity to learn about Hashimoto’s disease including testing, diagnosis and what you can do to help yourself.  You will meet up with people you can relate to and enjoy a relaxing day in this beautiful venue.

Tickets for the conference are £35.00 and include refreshments on arrival, two refreshment breaks and a delicious selection of hot and cold food at lunchtime.

The Cotswold Water Park (Four Pillars) Hotel is a contemporary luxury Cotswolds hotel set in a wonderland of lakes, rivers, woodland and open countryside. The hotel has been designed to complement its beautiful surroundings, while retaining all the modern features of a premier 4 star hotel.

The Cotswold Water Park Hotel is in a central Gloucestershire location near to Bristol, Cheltenham, Cirencester and Swindon.  It is only a five minute taxi drive away from Kemble railway station and is eight miles away from the M4 motorway.  You can find travel information here.

This year, there will be closed captioning of the speakers on large screens for those that need it (Deaf and hard of hearing) and you will also be able to access the captioning via your mobile, tablet or laptop. There will be a free transcript of all the talks for delegates available after the conference.

Dr Patrick Gwyer PhD, Chartered Psychologist and Clinical Psychologist, is our keynote speaker.

Registration starts at 9.15am, giving you lots of time to settle in, visit the stands or simply have a chat with other delegates before the conference starts at 10am.  You can ask any burning questions you may have at the end of the conference in the question and answer session.

Thyroid UK will also have a stand selling merchandise, books, Christmas cards etc. Plus, there will be a raffle for shopping vouchers, which will be drawn at the end of the last break.

If you want to stay over on the night of the conference, you could stay at the Cotswold Park Hotel which has a variety of rooms to suit everyone and the stay will include bed and breakfast and use of the spa.

Thyroid UK has block booked 30 standard double rooms for Friday 29th September at a discounted rate of £86.00 per night including bed and breakfast for delegates.  These rooms are on a first come first served basis and must be fully pre-paid and are non-refundable and non-transferable.

After these rooms have been taken, the room price reverts to the normal price so do book early!
